All six dresses I have bought I Am wearing this summer …it is still winter in England And Those are all good cotton dresses. I love the prints of each one of them And. That you do not find on the Australian catwalk….Harrow Shops. Have all disappeared for Cafes……So I am wholly dependent on companies on the internet. …….I also have a disabled brother Peter which means I cannot shop in London. In a way it has taught me a lot to view dresses and kaftans On the internet….Imam very choosy with what I wear ….When I was very young….I was brought up with Burmese colours and Indian colours living out at dum dum airport. So I Have Never lost my love for patterns and colours. When I was young Mother would take me to New Market In Calcutta. To chose textiles For my dresses Mom would make for me to wear. I Had a free hand with all the bolsters of materials to Chose from. And I enjoyed Myself wearing all the dresses Mother made from me.
There is another Australian designer Lisa Hall I have discovered in Budje in India who is known as. Madame Hall on Etsy…Lisa. Has been living there For twelve years. . Interesting …how she has adapted to the block printing of that area Because it is not Jaipur block printing designers …anyway. …..love. All the six dresses from you’ll. I am just getting kitted out that is all.
